1989 Legend Coupe Steering Column Tilt Broken
Steering Column Tilt Broken
The lever that you move to adjust the tilt on the steering column of my wife's 89 coupe has gone all loose. This has resulted in the steering column not being set. You can move it up and down which is quite disconcerting if you drive the car. Any thoughts on a fix or cause before I get the tool box out? Cheers

yea that would be a challenge to drive like that.i would open up the column if thats something ur comfortable doing.sounds like lever is stuck.sorry but no quick fix that im a where of. im thinking the lever to adjust just screws in??maybe a little crc to see if that helps. good luck
