Check Engine Light - 2002 3.8
The check engine light came on today on my way to work...this being only 2 days after I got it back after being repaired because I collided with a deer.
My car has 170,000km on it. I am going to get it checked today, but if anyone knows of any common problems with this model at this amount of KM's I'd like to be prepared. Thanks

Welcome to AF
The check engine light could be coming on due to any number of emissions/performance related issues. Get the codes pulled and post here, that way we can help you decipher the codes without you being at the mercy of a repair shop/dealer as to what they mean. Auto-Zone and Advance Auto will both pull the codes for free if your CEL is on. Just don't trust their definitions. Have them either do a print out or write them down and post them here.
