IWC: Image Resizer (Denied)
I've seen on many vBulletin forums, that they have an automatic image resizer built in. For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about I'll explain. When someone posts a big image, the image will be shrunk down to a certain size. At the top of that image there is a little bar for people to click, that will allow you to see the image in it's original size. Here is a screen cap, from another forum, that shows what I'm talking about:
![]() I have no idea how this effects bandwidth, so obviously that would be an issue if it does. People could use an image host that makes thumbnails, like the one above, but a lot of people use hosts like photobucket, that don't give you that option. So it would certainly help people who don't want to click a link just to get a glimps of the image before they look at it more closely. It would also help for when people decide to post huge images that can take up screens, even on computers with higher resolution settings. DO NOT REPLY TO THIS POST WITH YOUR SUGGESTIONS ON HOW THE PROPOSED CHANGE CAN BE MADE BETTER. START YOUR OWN IWC THREAD IF YOU HAVE AN IDEA ON HOW TO FURTHER IMPROVE AF AFTER THIS CHANGE PASSES OR FAILS. |

Re: IWC: Image Resizer
This has been brought up before, but due to resources it will not be implemented at this time.
