95 villager: locate air relief plug

The repair manaul shows the picture of engine air relief plug of 96 model, looks quite different from my 95. I can not decide exactly where it is. And the manual also says the heatpipe air relief plug is nehind the throttle body, but no picture shows it. Can someone please give me some deccriptive instructions on how do I find them ?

Many Thanks

Engine air relief plug is at top center of engine between the IAC valve and the egr backpressure transducer. looks like a 10mm bolt.
The heater pipe cap is on the bottom backside of throttle body. Hard to see without a mirror. It's a rubber cap clamped on a 1/4" steal line.

Re: 95 villager: locate air relief plug

I just had the same problem finding the heater pipe air relief cap. It is well hidden & the manual does not show a photo of it's location. It is towards the firewall about a foot right of center looking at the engine. Find the two hoses in that area, they are the heater hoses. the top one has a metal pipe going into the engine. This is the heater intake & it has a small metal pipe periscope shape with a rubber tip clamped on the end. This is the pipe that you slip on the plastic hose that goes to the radiator overflow tank when bleeding air locks out of the cooling system. Click on the following link for photos & info http://abra.homestead.com/villager2.html
Also you can click on http://home.earthlink.net/~vqfaq/index.htm
then click on the first subtitle drop down and select Coolant Refill.

Re: 95 villager: locate air relief plug

Finding the engine & heater pipe air relief plugs are a bit confusing, especially since photos are rare or unclear. Try the following link for clear photos & a link to step by step proceedures. http://abra.homestead.com/villager2.html

By Sticky I mean that your pictures should be on the Villager page permanently, so others can utilize your info at any time.

Re: 95 villager: locate air relief plug

Thanks Tempfixit for your reply.
I'd like to set it up to enable more Villager owners to utilize the photos & info on http://abra.homestead.com/villager.html
Can you let me know how to do it (sticky)?
