Heated seat not working
Driver side not working wife said it got real hot before it stopped working.I've changed the switch with the passenger side it works there.Are there anyother fuses someplace elese that migth be blown?I'm thinking its the element if so is this a GM only product or can I get help at NAPA or other like stores? Not letting GM to look at it can't afford there so called expertise.lol

The 15 amp fuse for the drivers heated seat module is in the left side instrument panel wiring junction box, located on the left side of the instrument panel when the drivers door is open. It should be labeled LH HTD SEAT/BCM FUSE. Look in the back of your owners manual for the location within the junction box. The passenger seat has its own fuse, in the right side box. They are interchangeable, so swap them and see what happens.
However, given that it got really hot before quitting, I think you are right about the element being burned out. |

I had the same problem and it was the element that burnt out... I had warranty coverage... The dealer fix was to take the whole seat apart and replace the element... If I had to pay for that it would have cost a few hundred dollars due to the labor involved...

Found a element on e-bay new from a company called autowarm(www.autowarm.com) for 86.00 it came with its own switch but I wired into the OEM one works great .Its a wonder how you can fix things if you just try and take your time and yes have a person to fall back on when you mess up .The guys that ans. questions on here don't have a clue how much they help people out thanks so much for taking the time to reply to guys like me.Thanks alot! Mitch
