What's the best motor to swap into an 04' Lancer?

Hey, I just got an 04' Lancer and I'm new to the mitsubishi scene. My last project car was a 94' CRX Del Sol.
If anyone would know the best motor to swap into it, to make it a sleeper and how long and
what would be involved with the swap? Thanks.
