99 mustang-cranks-no fire

I have a 99 mustang that ran fine yesterday, but when I tried to start this a.m. it only turns over, but won't start. Has proper fuel pressure, seems to be getting no fire. How can I check for proper fire on a distributor pack? Or, any suggestions will help. Thanks

You need an in-line spark tester or just ground a plug wire with a screw driver and watch for a spark.

Re: 99 mustang-cranks-no fire

Was it the ignition module? My 95' did the same thing a month ago, must be due to the cold weather. It had "long crank times" then finally, it just wouldnt start. Changed the fuel pump a year earlier... didnt help. The ignition modules are a common failure item on Fords, their relatively inexpensive so I'll have to deal with it. The AZ parts guy said the ignition module mounted to the side of the distributor ... actually it mounted to the fender underneath the air filter on the GT.
