1999 sunfire NO high beams

My wifes 1999 sunfire has no lowbeams. (yes the title was a mistake)I have switched all the relays and checked several connectors and inspected wire harnesses by visual inspection and found no problems. I do have a multimeter but do not know which wire to start to look at. Any help ???? I assume a bad wire or connection .Anyone know wire color codes on this car and or where to start to look. All other light functions seem to be fine
2.2 engine auto trans model no power options i.e windows etc,

Had the same problem with my 01 sunfire... the wires that run across the front bumper support are known for getting pinholes in them from vibrating on the bumper support... GM could have solved this design flaw with some corrugated conduit. Instead they wanna charge approximately $800 to change the front harness. I spent $140 the first time I had the problem and six months later I it happened again... The repair is actually very simple... get in there and unwrap all the wires across the front and inspect them.. the holes will be small, but noticable... they are big enough to allow moisture and permit corrosion.. Just splice in with some butt connectors and insulate very well with shrinktube or liquid electric tape. Then for added protection back tape and tape the entire length of the wires. For the added protection get yerself some of the corrugated plastic wire loom. You should never have a problem again. Like I said it is a VERY COMMON problem with Sunfires and Cavaliers... GM is well aware and it is covered under Manufacturers warranty. But for those of us that have surpassed it... 800 bucks is generally a good chunk of change. Hope this helps!!!
