2005 AZTEK AWD 150K Miles!
I had a 2005 AZTEK AWD for the company I drive for. And we had many of these things! Yea their as ugly as a snapping turtle! but I came to really like the one I had. Any many of my other co workers did as well. They are fairly comfortable and you have a good view of the road. Though the rear visabilty was not to good with the rear spoiler obsructing the view. Several had wheel bearings go every 30-40 thousand. And some wore tires unevenly. And I did replace 4 headlight bulbs usually after a heavy rain or a trip through the car wash. The inside lift gate release seldom worked right but overall I was very happy with my AZTEK and I was sory to see mine go back to the lease company. (It was a sad day to see it go!) I drove this vehicle through 2 feet of snow last February with the agressive Hercules Tera Track tires I had on it! (It was awesome!)
Overall I thought it was a pretty good vehicle! No major problems to report. |

Re: 2005 AZTEK AWD 150K Miles!
I have an 05 as well and both headlight housing leaked so I had GM replace them, I changed out the OE low beams to HID, left the high beams as they were because they do double duty as Daytime Running lights at reduced voltage so they are half as bright. I bought an extra set of basic black rims and put some top rated snow grooved studded tires on them for my wife who drives it here in Alaska, I think she has less than 30k miles on it and the only repair work we did just recently was resurface the rear rotors and replace the rear pads.
