Crossmember

I have a 1991 Caprice Wagon and i am looking to finish off my dual exhaust. I recently bought a set of shorty headers and exhaust cutouts. What i was wondering was if there is a crossmember for my car or a car like it that has two humps in it for true dual exhaust. My car has a 700R4 trans in case it matters

Re: Crossmember

You can get the LT1 crossmember for a '94-'96 as it has two humps in it for true dual exhaust. You may or may not have to modify the driver side of your frame for it.

Re: Crossmember

I bought dual hump crossmember from Jegs for G-Body GM http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0002_347280_-1
It only needs to be a little longer, I welded about an inch at each end, no problem...

Re: Crossmember

Try calling CIA, they have tubular crossmembers listed for your car that might work.
