Trying to locate a minor vibration

2000 Zetec, atx, 105k.

I've had the car for about a month now, driven a couple thousand miles.
Initially it had a pretty severe vibration that kicked in at 60 and got worse at higher speeds.
I replaced the tires with GY Eagle's.
I replaced a bad outer cv boot and both sway bar end links (one was broken).
I've also replaced front rotors and pads.
It drives perfectly from 0-60. The vibration has been substantially reduced, but it's still there at about 70.
I've also recently noticed a little bit of a clunk when the steering reaches the end of its travel (I forget which side it's to, but it's not both). Maybe that's a sign of a tie rod problem?

It's been suggested that the tire shop balanced them improperly, but I've never heard of that happening until now.

What other items might be worth looking into?

Re: Trying to locate a minor vibration

get the front end checked out!!!!!!!!! the clunk is not good at all. when you got new tires did you align the front end? this may be an alignment problem with the front tires. the clunk could be anything but most of all you dont want it to be tierods when you are going 70.
