trunk release button

I was just looking at our new/old 95 century, and there is a release button in the glove box, but it doesnt seem to be connected to anything. I pulled the fuse box out, and found that the orange wire from the button goes to nothing. It snaps into the f/b, but nothing on the front side to plug a fuse into. Does the car have this option even if there is a button in the glove box, or did they assemble with the button if it was an option or not.?

Re: trunk release button

Send me a private message with the last 8-digits of your vin, and I'll run it to see if the car has remote trunk release. It's possible someone broke the glove box before you owned it, and snagged one from a car that had it.

Re: trunk release button

keyless remote receiver, or no keyless remote receiver. What are the possible locations for the keyless remote receiver. I did not see one under the rear deck by left speaker. 1995 century special.

Re: trunk release button

I will double check if your car has keyless entry when I get to work tomorrow. All I checked for is for remote trunk release (the button in the glove box)
