1996 Sable - EGR insufficient flow and bank 1 O2 sensor

I believe I had the same code, I can't be sure tho. I removed the TB from the manifold and found that sludge had plugged up the channel that runs around the opening in the manifold. The "air" needs to flow thru here. I gently scraped it out and cleaned the TB base, manifold, and gasket, and reinstalled the TB. Reset the codes and haven't had a problem since.

remove EGR Valve and Clean out the two holes by scaping out the carbon build up and then blow it out.
