Re: 2001 Silhouette - trailer hitch wiring

Unfortunately I have not got a complete system out yet, I did get the shocks out with no problems but the pump system I did not. The yard that had the Montanta allready had the pump sold. Living in a rual community, here in Mantitoba, I don't get to the city much and have not gotten the rest of the system yet ( my wife thinks that a remote start is more important now that the cold weather is almost here ) but I still want to install this system ASAP. I will keep you up to date when I start on that project again.

Well things did not go as well as I thought I would have with the level system, I ended up having a leak in the shocks and wasn't going to pay full price for them, I ended up putting in normal shocks and went with a Sure Lift system I purchased off the net, I installed a bag inside the coil spring and drilled a hold for the hose in the spring retainer. System works excellent and the price was cheaper than 1 air shock, now I have not had it installed for long and I am not sure how long the bags are to last but if you keep 5psi in them at all times, it should last a while and was very easy to install. I would recommend.
