i did a lot of work on my 96 'hoe.it has 161,000 miles and was running very poorly. i have just replaced my passenger side head, redid all the gaskets, and replaced the central cfi unit. i also replaced the whole cooling system. i got it started and it ran great. i took it to work, then took it home and i noticed a growling sound. had no clue of what it was, so i ran it around the block. got about a mile down the road when the idle started actin really funny and my truck started jerking around. i limped it into a gas station and let it idle, and i noticed that the rpms raced between 700-1000 then jump up to 1400. it would act like it was going to stall, then kick back up. it did that 4 times then finally died. i had to have it towed home, as it would not restart. the next day i borrowed a odb tool from auto zone and read 3 codes: crank position sensor low voltage, throttle position sensor low voltage, and coolant temp sensor low voltage. cleared the codes, and the truck started. it ran for about 45 seconds, rpms fluctuating as it did earlier then died. troublecodes brought up ckps code and tps code again. can anyone help me here?
