Unhappy Mazda Truck Issue

I own a 1997 Mazda B4000 truck. I was driving it today and slowly started not wanting to shift gears. By the time I got home it would barely shift from 1st to 2nd and so on when the truck was running. It wouldn't even shift into reverse, just grind the gear. When the truck is off it will shift just fine. Is this a transmission problem or a clutch problem? The clutch pedal is also only compressing at about half as much as it usually does. Can anyone help me???

Re: Mazda Truck Issue

it is a clutch problem most likely clutch master and slave cylinders. the transmision if shifts good not moving will shift good when moving so long as clutch is operating correctly good luck.
