Weird Elantra power loss

Hello all, A week ago I took the box that holds my air filter off to change a line that goes to my steering rack, now ever since then I have had the check engine light come on for a split second and my car looses power but only for a second. After that second the car runs fine. I also changed my plugs at the same time as the line but everyone thinks it has to do with the air flow. It has a new air filter and everything looks ok around the box so I must be missing something.Maybe it's something all together different.Any Ideas?

Thanks!

Re: Weird Elantra power loss

if you have a check engine go get the code, it'll be simple from there to tell what's wrong with the car. (even if the CEL went on for a split second, you'll have the code stored in memory)

Re: Weird Elantra power loss

We checked for a code on Friday with a code reader a guy I know has.Nothing, I'll take it to a dealer and have them scan it.
