A good reason to not talk and drive at the same time...

http://www.wlextv.com/Global/story.asp?S=4449021

Yikes. Perhaps overly strong poetic justice?

A CHiPs (California Highway Patrol) officer i knew warned about driving with a partialy open window. He came across a single car accident where the car rolled a few times and landed right side up. The woman's head had been flung against the half open window and sliced open during the rollover. her head was still impaled on the window with the brain fluids running down the glass when he found her. Since then I drive with the window just cracked open, or all the way down

Re: A good reason to not talk and drive at the same time...

No one wishes harm to any human being but hopefully she learns her lesson and never drives while jacking her jaws on a cell phone again. In this case I have no pity for her. What proof do you need when her severed arm was still holding the cell phone. She is lucky the police did not charge her with any criminal charges to include criminal negligence or reckless endangerment of a child, etc. There are a whole bunch of soccer moms that should take heed of this one.

BTW - In most truck, SUV or car rollovers the windows shatter or pop out so massive multiple trauma like decapitation may still occur.

Nah, she just needs to use a hand-free device.

At least she didn't hurt anybody else.

Re: A good reason to not talk and drive at the same time...

I've been seeing people driving worse and worse recently while on their cell phones. Yapping and not flowing with traffic, beginning to/making lane changes without looking and so on.

Not to place blame on one specific person, but the majority I see are women.

Re: A good reason to not talk and drive at the same time...

men and women both do odd things while driving. The most unusual thing I have ever seen was a [woman] eating from a bowl with a fork while driving. How the hell do you eat something out of a bowl using a fork while driving!!?? She may as well have been cutting up a steak while driving. Some of the stuff you see these days...rediculous..sheez it's called a RESTaurant for a reason...to stop, rest, and eat. I heard on the radio awhile back, that a large number of people are driving around with their dog in their laps....yeah! that's safe! What's going to happen when that dog gets freaked out and pisses in your lap? yeah you're probably going to swerve erratically....people amaze me these days.

The ones that scare the crap out of me are the ones text messaging while driving.

Ever been behind a female driver and noticed they play with their hair. You know why? 'Cause they have no balls to scratch.

Dude! I saw a lady eating something out of a bowl the other morning. I think she was using a spoon, but who the fuck cares, it's a stupid thing to do.

Why can't they eat at work, or get up 10 minutes earlier and eat at the house?
