91 sierra - spots to grease

Hey im a noob and i see 2 nipples around the ball joints and tie rods for greasing but where are all the normal spots on one of these trucks that i should be greasing with a grease gun?

Assuming this is a 2wd truck...

Upper and lower ball joints (upper accessible by turning front wheels full lock left or right)....grease until rubber grease seal bulges slightly...put your finger on it so you can feel how tight it gets....don't blow out the seal or the ball joints are junk.

*Tie rod ends (grease until it just begins to flow out from under seal)

*Sector arm bushing (large arm on steering box side...grease until it just begins to ooze out of bushing)

*Idler arm bushing (smaller arm on pssngr side....same as sector arm)

*U-joints (might need a needle-type greas gun fitting to get em...grease 'til it begins to ooze out of bearing seal)

In every case, *thoroughly* clean all the zerk fittings (carb/brake cleaner and toothbrush) before greasing. Remove/wipe off any excess grease that oozes from joint and wipe off any grease on the zerk fittings....otherwise it acts like a sand and dirt magnet.

It's a messy job so have lots of towels/rags on hand...have fun.
