??Where is the transmission vent in a 2000 escort???
[b] Where is the Transmission vent in a 2000 ford escort automatic. My transmission fuid is bubbling back out when I add it through the dip stick... I was told that it was on the transmission closer to the engine block..but I can't find it. I was also told to change my pcv and that would solve the problem.. but isn't the pcv on the top of the oil unit near the injectors??

You may need to remove the battery, the battery box, and even the air filter housing - in order to see the top of the transmission. Somehwere on the upper part of the tranny is where the vent would be.
