Master Cylinder Problem
I recentlly got a Clutch job a segmented kevlar clutch and it seems to have a really low catch point is this normal because my oem clutch was nothing like this. Along the process i also change the slave cylinder, but left the master alone because it looked like a B!@# to work on. Now the pedal feel so much lighter, my mechanic told me to try putting a master on because it may wear out the slave if i dont and it will help the pedal out. Should i do this or are my hydralics fine. BTW my slave was leaking like crazy before i changed. Lastly if i were to change the master is it different for a VR4 because it looks different where the two bolts attached through the firewall, under the dash. Step 9 on this page http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread....build+pictures
Just want to drive my car guilt free if you know what i mean

Re: Master Cylinder Problem
If the pedal feels light you probably didn't bleed the system completely...or at all?
The engagement point of the clutch probably can be corrected by the adjustement at the pedal.
