Help (related to EGR)

I have 2002 Explorer XLT 4x4/4.0 SOHC with 110k miles

I tried searching for some info about these codes and was not very successful. Maybe somebody can point me towards a thread that covers how to repair, or tell me what to do next.....

Svc. Engine Soon light came on and I had AutoZone read the codes for me a while back, here's what they said:

P0401: PCM has determined that there is insufficient flow in the exhaust gas recirculation system

P0402: PCM has determined that there is excessive flow in the exhaust gas recirculation system

P1400: DPFE EGR circuit low input

Any takers?

Re: Help (related to EGR)

Since you have both the P0401 and P0402, The DPFE sensor is at fault. It is easily replaced.
