Door light and dome light won't turn off

I have a 1990 tercell and the dome light and door light in the instrument panel won't turn off. When I press the door switches, the door light in the instrument panel dims. I can turn off the dome light manually, but the door light stays on. At the moment I just take out the fuse, it would be nice however to have it working so that I can see the inside of my car at night.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
