Glowring and inside lights wont go out.
ok i know this may sound very simple and stupid but hear me out. yeah i went out side to turn my lights in my garage off and i looked in my car the glow ring was on. and so were the interior lights. naturally im thinking i left the door ajar a lil bit or something it's happened b4 etc etc. so i close the doors and slam em good even make sure they're connecting with that little button. still to no avail. the door button isnt even on. and obviously the only way i can get it to turn off is if i disconnect the battery. so can someone please provide some help or maybe theres a wire or a sensor that needs to be replaced please do so disconnecting the battery everytime the car is stationary is a hassle. thanks in advance.

Re: Glowring and inside lights wont go out.
Is your dimmer switch turned on all the way ? You may have left it on by accident.

Re: Glowring and inside lights wont go out.
actually nah i checked that first. but they actually have no correlation to another cuz that dimmer mainly controls the gauges. but yeah the door lights are on as well if i neglected to mention same with the glow ring and the auto light which can be turned off manually but yeah my problem still exists lol.

If you are comfortable with using a voltmeter, I would suggest getting the schematics for your electrical system so you can check for circuit problems

Sounds to me like your door switch is sticking. They are known for corrding and going bad. There is also a switch in your hatch. I to this day still dont know how that one functions.

actually i think i have found the problem and it was entirely by accident. i had an electric tester the whole toolbox n everything out. looking underneath the dash in attempt just to pull that fuse out. and i knocked a wire pretty hard up into the console. alla of a sudden it turned off. i isolated the wire stripped it and soldered it in the middle and re-established the connections. my friend at anoter site said they have a tendancy to go bad after so many years so did the last poster. god bless mitsubishi. thanks for ur help guys.
