Those vaccum lines control it. Follow them from end to end, Make sure the connectors aren't loose. Mine has a tendancy to come loose when I try and hook up the temp control, well untill i beat out that small spot welded rail on the bottom. Now I have plenty of room.

Look inside the hole where the stereo was and see if you bumped anything loose or anything.

Re: No heat or air though vents?????

80% probablility. There's a red connector with 4 0r 5 contacts that plugs into the mode selector switch that is still disconnected. I recently did exactly the same thing, pulled my cd player out and I unplugged this connector without even knowing it. The dealer charged me $72 just to plug it back in. it plugs in right under the connector with the 4 big wires into the far right switch.

most likely solution is you unplugged a connector without knowing it. I recently did this as well, and it's a red, 4pin or 5pin connector that plugs into the mode selector switch right under the big one with the 4 colored wires. look around in the hole and see if you can see another red connector loose. that's your most likely cause.

Hey guys,

I'm having the same problem with air/heat only coming through the defrost. After I picked my car up from the shop, I found this problem. The guy told me that something else could have been wrong with the car. I always thought it was just something that was loose.

Is this connector inside the car or under the hood? And, if it's in the car, is it under the dash? Which side?

Thanks!!!

It's the connecter behind the control, it's a cluster of vaccum lines.
