02' Sunfire...PWR WINDOWS

I am almost positive the dr side mtr is toast...bout an hour ago pass.side started doin the samething...goes up...stops....goes up stops....finally got the sucker ALL the way up...dr side still liks @.50"....
So I assume I am looking a motor/regulator X 2.......

Are the aftermarket units any better than the factory originals....I also noticed the units for the CAVALIER have the same MO# as the ones for the SUBFIRE...but they are cheaper....I may be wrong...

Got someone who has done this before gonna do the install..all I gotta do is furnish the beer...AFTER naturally

Re: 02' Sunfire...PWR WINDOWS

I've had the same problem with my driver's side window, and another problem with my passenger side.

My driver's side had the same symptoms your are describing and it was the motor and the aftermarket worked I think as good as my original did. But window problems seem to be systemic with the 00-02 Sunfire. I had to replace the Power Window Regulator on the passenger side next and then the regulator on the drivers side (after the motor replacement).

Just be wary of what might be coming...

Derek
