Door panels (please delete)
Okay, this may seem like a no brainer but I cannot find any good descriptions of how to do it. 1990 Cherokee Laredo with PW and PL. I have keyless entry but two of the locks will not open so I thought I would try to adjust or lube them up to work a little better. I also wanted to look at all the wiring at the same time as none of my door speakers are working right now. Took the three screws out of the door fixtures but then could not figure out how to undo the lock rods to remove the handles and panel. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Re: Door panels
I dont know how acurate this will be for you Jeep, but my 90 cherokee works this way.
The rods, fit into plastic bushings. You must push them out of the plastic bushings. But be aware there may be metal clips that the rod fits into that holds the rod into the bushing. Normally one of the rods goes in from the top and one from the bottom. Mike |
