97 Jetta Check Battery

Hi,
I have a 97 Jetta and the check battery light came on. I had the battery checked and replaced it with a new battery. The car is running fine but the check battery light is still on. Is there a reset somewhere or could there be another problem?

Re: 97 Jetta Check Battery

It might be your alternator, a simple check is to pull the battery cable off when it is running and if it dies its the alternator.
