Man, if I had my own car dealership I'd be sure that every potential customer got a very thorough email explaining anything they might have asked and giving them thanks for considering us. Not the place I'm asking however, take a look at these emails.
Now I asked some very important questions in my email and I was very sincere and professional too (and I'm only 18 years old!) Quote:

So in a sum-up, the person who responded to my email... 1. Never answered my questions, maybe one at the most if you want to count it. 2. Typed in all caps as if he/she was yelling at me. 3. Tells me things I didn't ask and already know in their already extremely-short email. 4. Never said thanks, signed their name, or recited the company's name/address/phone. 5. Calls a hubcap a "wheel cover" for the love of God. I think this poor salesmanship. I'd hope to God everyone at this company isn't this lazy, I'd never buy a car from there if so. They have a good deal on this Geo Metro, but I don't know if I should put an offer in on it or not because of the email alone. Isn't it amazing how one lazy person that can't focus on your inquiry or type a letter in a professional way, can make a whole company look bad? I hope the owner of the place knows about it, unless it is the owner.. I don't know because they didn't leave their letter or any type of contact in the email. ![]() So... should I consider doing business with this place? They're either all a bunch of slobs or they've got a "bad Joe" making the whole place look horrible. What are your opinions? Thank you, Andrew Edit: I found this place on the BBB, they have 3 complaints filed. Is this a place I should stay away from then? The only thing is that I am having a hell of a time trying to find a Geo Metro anywhere in my WHOLE state (dealer or private, you can't find them ANYWHERE!) So it's like I finally find one and then it turns out being from a place like this, I beg for your guys' advice on this all...

Re: Arg, frusterating dealing with "dealers" sometimes
Don't buy from them if you ask me. But if you really need a metro and they got a good deal then
1. get the vin number and run a carfax report (pay for it, it's worth it) 2. if you like what it says, then do a thorough check of the whole vehicle, checking the engine, exterior, and interior. take a test drive and check the brakes, listen for strange noises from the suspension and steering, and test the car's features (a/c, cruise, etc.). after the drive check everything again for any leaks or changes from the first check. but i don't think you should buy from them regardless.

Re: Arg, frusterating dealing with "dealers" sometimes
Don't buy from those ass monkeys. They seem to act desperate to get rid of that metro. So u have to ask urself this Why are they so willing to get rid of this car? WHen ever you do anything at all to a car with the exception of the exhaust it is documented. I encountered something similar not long ago. I asked for a price quote on an un painted cab shell and frame only of an SRT 10 Pick up. No electronics, no wiring harness, just the cab shell and frame only in other words completely stripped down to bare metal no interior at all. All i got was desperate requests for me to pick out the chrome trim and harrassing phone calls around 8 am and i work nite shift. My mom went to look at the new Sebrings that just come out and all she wanted to do was look at it. The freak practically harrassed her and tried get her to test drive it. I ended up calling the asshole up and saying if u can't do any better than that then i will be down there and i will kick ur ass in front of ur co workers and have ur ass in court for harrassment. The car dealers of yesterday vs. the ones today i choose the old school days any day of the week twice on sunday.
