Looking to buy a new car.

Hey, I'm looking to buy a nice used car from 5000-12000 dollars. I want a fast car, but I think I'm looking for a sedan style car, either a coupe or 4 doors.

Some cars I've been looking at are:

Nissan Maxima 2002 and up
Acura 3.2TL Type-S
Honda Accord v6
Mazda6

Anyone have any suggestions for me?

Which of these cars, or other sedans that are fast and sporty, would be good for upgrading to get high horsepower? Which overall would make the best sporty fast powerful sedan? (take cheap mods into accout)

Ok thanks.

Re: Looking to buy a new car.

Definitely the Maxima. The newer Altimas are now taking the role of Nissan's sporty sedan so may want to consider those also (if they fit your range).

"Melo" and "AI". Enough said.

Re: Looking to buy a new car.

your better off buying a used 90-96 car because most of the cars u are looking at have governors on them which means more money u got to spend to take it off and if you dont take it off then no matter how much money you spend that governor is gonna cut you off doesnt matter if u have 1000 hp thats something u need to think about too and a plus is you can make the car however you like and most new cars aftermarket parts cost an arm and a leg so really think before you do something not trying to talk down to you but u have to research real good

Re: Looking to buy a new car.

I'm talking just a base sporty sedan with a few mods on it. Like maybe intake and exhaust and what not. Not that much.

I'd prefer the Acura or the Accord.
