Does anyone know a company that can furnish a crate motor for 1996 Neon 2.2L DOHC

Jasper is one,the best one and they have a 3 year,100,000 mile warranty.If you ever have a problem with a Jasper,you can take it to any Jasper dealer for warranty work.Stay away from the ones from auto parts store,they are installed with cheap parts such as pistons made in China,bearings made in Israel and the warranty sucks.You have to take it to one of their places for warranty work.My father went through this,a customer bought one from AutoZone and my father installed it.AutoZone said it would be in the next day,took two weeks to get it in.It blew up 2 weeks later and it took a month and half to find out why it blew up which it had to go to one of AutoZone's places for the warranty.Jasper uses high quality parts made in the USA,Clevite bearings,Fel Pro Gaskets,etc.Make sure the block has no holes in the block if you go with a Jasper,you pay for the core if it has holes in the block.You can get one from the dealer,the warranty on theirs is a 12 month warranty.

You don't have a 2.2L DOHC engine if it's stock. You have a 2.0L engine. Howell Automotive offers performance crate engines.
