Got a question, how did you do it I ordered the one off ebay and its jsut a few hinges and slider lock.............is that what you got, because its meant for trunks that the trunk arms mount over the trunk lid, not behind a piece of metal like ours do...........please get back to me I got this kit here just doing nothing...thanks

Yea i to bought that kit off ebay and its junk. Coulda bought the stuff at home depot. Reguardless im pretty sure they will not work on cavalier because of the way the trunk is mounted from the inside. I had to cut the pieces of my trunk out to get it to work correctly .

So you cut off the metal hiding the trunk mounts? and used the ebay kit?
