Need help gages bottm out

I have a bmw 1990 535i. It has a bad cluchfan. Would it mess with any sensors? I still need to change it. It's on ordor. My problem is when I hit my brakes when running a chime sounds and my gages bottom out, and sometimes my wiper squirters will run. Help, what could the problem be?

When this happens is there a code that is displayed on your HUD? Like "check control"?

Usually when you hear that chime it's never good...and when it chimes a code usually comes up on the HUD.

Does the car sputter or stall when this happens? Cause when my gauges bottom out that means I've turned off the car.

Does it bottom out all the gauges? Or just the temp gauge?

Almost sounds like an electrical fault if the wipers start when the gauges fall.
