heater hoses e100 1973 with 302

a good friend of mine needs your help. He doesn`t remember exactly where to connect the heater hoses from the heater core . He told me he has a fitting near the thermostat housing,2 fittings on the water pump + one on the water neck, any idea ??

The hose going into the heater core comes from the outlet near the thermostat housing. The hose returning goes to the water pump.
