Have Problem With Engine Light Keeps Coming On With Po 172 Bank 1 To Rich.i Had Fuel Pump Fail Replaced It And Filter.then This Code Pops On Put New O2 Sensor In Still No Fix Clear It Off Comes Back In 15 To 20 Miles.any Help Thanks

Could be a bad injector. Get a scan tool that will read live data and take it for a ride. Read things like MAF, short and long term fuel trim, O2 sensor and see where the problem is comming from.

Not saying this will fix your problem. I had one similiar and changed the air filter and solved the problem. It was a fairly new filter. It had a Fram on it and I changed to Wix. I had heard there was problems with Fram filters.

Don't shoot the sensors when they're doing their jobs! If you're getting a code telling you the system is running too rich, then the system is most likely running too rich! If the oxygen sensor is having a problem, there are codes that will set specifically relating to incorrect oxygen sensor voltage, heater performance, etc.
The fuel system should be diagnosed properly, otherwise you'll probably waste a lot of money guessing at the problem. |
