Car wobbling

For some reason my car wobbles a bit when driving. When I slow down I can notice it wobbling. If you drive on a bumpy road a car would normally wobble because of the bumps...my car wobbles a bit on flat roads when there are no bumps. Can someone tell me what might be the problem? Also my car slightly drifts to the right to on straight roads.

Re: Car wobbling

depending on where you go and whether you get a 1 time alignment or a lifetime... 60-100 dollars. I dont know what a balance will run you. Also, does your car make popping or clunking sounds/feelings when you turn sharply, at low speed?

I don't think so. If there is then I don't notice it. The auto guy on the phone told me it might be the bearings but he's not sure because he has to examine my car. If it's the bearings...how much would that cost?

Re: Car wobbling

just have the alignment checked like greenblur said.. after that we will know where to look next wheel bearings are rarely going out.. did you hit any curbs or any accidents of any kind can cause bad alignment and knock of weights of wheels

I don't think I hit any curbs...although I might have. But no accidents. I'll see what's up and post back here later. Thanks guys!

Re: Car wobbling

I took the car to the auto shop and the guy said that it was one of my rear tires. It was wearing away and had a bubble which caused the wobble.

Re: Car wobbling

That would do it. As for the car pulling to the right slightly, its supposed to do that. Its not supposed to be a hard pull, but every car is supposed to pull slightly to the right. Its a safety issue, keeps your car from drifting over to the left into on coming traffic.
