Radio static on '95 lasebre

I have a '95 lasebre and like to listen to AM radio. There is a lot of static, whinning noise, when the car is rev up. I am guessing either a alternator or plugs. What do you think and how to fix it? It has not been doing this very long, like a year, but I have been tolerant of it up to now and but want it quietened down.
Thanks

Re: Radio static on '95 lasebre

Sounds like a loose ground wire to me. Do the FM stations do the same thing?
