White smoke

If i let the car sit for a little while, and then go to start it, she idles really low, and acts like she's going to stall, then finally picks up and runs, and during all this, it bellows white smoke like you wouldn't believe(It has gotten a lot of curses and insults at school, stuff like "THAT PIECE OF AMERICAN-MADE SHIT!" from all the civic boys). It usually runs at normal temps, except occasionally when i let it idle for a long period of time(McDonalds drive-thru where the wait is long). I have checked the water and it hasn't gone down. What could be my issue? Also, if it's relevant, i was making an hour and a half commute into the city back in July and as i got there, it started ticking and it was out of oil, COMPLETELY, so i filled it and it hasn't gone down since. The funny thing was I had JUST checked it two days before and it had been fine.....

Re: White smoke

Aye, I know that oil burns blue, i was just saying that it running low on oil MIGHT have possibly damaged something that's letting coolant into the cylinders.

Re: White smoke

Well, the ultimatum has been handed down from the old man. Says fix the car and sell it. I'll probably take the money and go buy a 4x4 pickup and stay out of trouble.
