Making of YAMAHA YZF-R1

Hello,
Building Tamiya 1/12 YAMAHA YZF-R1 Taira Racing Version.

I removed all chrome plated paint. I hate it.
after that, painted gray primer.

Put polyester putty on back of swing arm as always.

This is stock part of tail fender. I made it fenderless look.

Painted frame Finisher's Fine Silver and applied clear coat.

Modified tail section.

Finished swing arm section.

Painted tank and cowl parts Finisher's Fine Silver/Pure Black.

Engine.

Mounted engine and swing arm on frame.

Good work on the bike, but I have to say that I'm not a fan of the collor combination of the heat staining. But other that that again a great build.

You're awesome, Kunta: the Batman's stand... LOL

This silver's shades are interesting, suberb finishing too. IMHO green shade on exaust is a bit strange, but overall the look is "raced" great!

I'm guessing with a single blow of his samurai sword ... while blindfolded and hanging by his right leg from the ceiling. Yes, Kunta is that good!

hehe, actually I used router saw. in modern society, it's illegal to use katana(samurai sword) for modeling.

gionc,
it's not BATMAN. she's BATGIRL!

anyway, thanks for the comments.
