Tamiya Racing Porsches Re-Release

It would appear based on pre-orders being taken on Hobby Link Japan that Tamiya will be Re-Releasing their 956 kit in 1982 and 1983 LeMans winning versions, the 962 kit in a 1986-1987 LM winning version and the 961 in the 1987 LM version.

It will be interesting to see what the "962" kit will be since the LeMans winner is quite different from the previous Tamiya 962 kit release. The previous 961 kit was off from the version that was raced at LeMans also... I hope for the best rather than the old kits with new decals.

I think you'll find these are the Museum collection decals to suit those kits, not the kits themselves.....

It MAY indicate however that a re-release of the kits is not too far away.... but Museum Collection seem to release stuff pretty much whenever they feel like it...
