Re: They just couldn't leave him be...

I am totally against this trend of 60+ year old actors bringing back their action movie series. I was against Die Hard 4 but I saw it cause it was free (for me). I was against Rocky Balboa but I own it cause it was free (for me). I'm against the new Indiana Jones coming out. I am certainly against this new Rambo coming out.

I'm sure when Schwarzenegger is out of office he'll revive the Terminator for one more go round.

Re: They just couldn't leave him be...

True. I think I'm more against Live Free or Die Hard because

A) the trailer features him hanging onto a F35
B) during the movie the F35 is done a severe injustice by its apparent inability to hit a semi
C) they ruined the best line in the movie! "Yippie kai-yay mother*grunt*"

But I must admit, I enjoyed the movie despite its ridiculous implausibilities

Re: They just couldn't leave him be...

Its just like the other Die Hard movies but with more realistic and unrealistic action sequences than the others. The familiar complex plot (which is somewhat possible) ultimately about money, John McClane somehow gets tied into it, creates problems for the bad guys, and gets the hell beaten out of him every step of the way. This is one sequel I was glad to see, but the others are pretty ridiculous. Didn't even bother to go see Rocky. I used to own T3, but it got stolen from me and i'm glad it did. I heard they wanted to get Sean Connery back to play Indiana's dad, but he declined (thank God). I may see this Rambo for the action, but i'm sure I won't like it.

Re: They just couldn't leave him be...

I saw T3 in theatres and paid for it As a matter of fact I paid for two tickets cause my lady was there. I quickly realized how terrible the movie was and spent the rest of the 2 hours feeling my girl up... which I could've done for free in the car

OMG! Does this have a point or let's see how much blood we can spill in 90 minutes?

Meh, may see it. Die Hard was awesome though! And IJ4 is suppose to be different. Don't forget JP4!

Re: They just couldn't leave him be...

I forgot about Jurassic Park. That last one was so terrible that I blocked it from memory. There was no real 'star' of that series though. Unless you count Jeff Goldblum

Re: They just couldn't leave him be...

Speilberg is directing it again because of how much he hated the last one. Though rumors of what the plot will be is greatly disappointing.
