99 jeep grand cheorkee V8 valve seals
Has anyone replaced the valve seals on this engine without removing the head. The engine has 161,000 miles on it. Should I be changing anything else while I have it apart?????Thanks Arne

I dont know if that is any different from mine but use compressed air through the spark plug hole to hold up the valves and then take off the spring. Should be able to keep it on the engine.

Re: 99 jeep grand cheorkee V8 valve seals
If you have a compression guage, hook it up to an airline, most compression guages have quick disconnects like an airhose and you can thread it into the spark plug hole and connect the air hose to it to hold the valve up in place.
