Humming from the GTP over 35mph

Hello...nice website.
I have 1999 GTP with about 144K on it and it still rolls nicely, but when I get to about 35 mph, I hear this humming noise that sounds like the front under the car...now normally I would think its the tires (which were needed), but I bought some new ones yesterday and still hear it. Any ideas?...my convertor, exhaust pipe, tailpipe and muffler were also replaced after I heard the sound the first time about a year ago....no mechanic can tell what it is so far. Do any of you know?

I would look at the front hub bearings. When they start to go, they will make a droning, almost airplane like noise.

Re: Humming from the GTP over 35mph

You were right, richtazz. They replaced my right hub bearings and the humming is gone.
