Rearview Mirror popped off my '02 GP

Went out to my car tonight, and surprise! The rear view mirror is dangling by the electrical wires. It's an OnStar - equipped mirror, so it's pretty heavy. The little adhesive piece is still on the winshield, the metal part of that the adhesive attaches to has come clean off it.

Anyone have this happen, or have advice how to fix? I suppose I can ask the dealer if they'll do it gratis since it could be a safety issue - I don't want this thing popping off again while I'm driving.

Suggestions welcome!

Thanks.

any glass shop will sell you the adhesive and most will remount the mirror for the cost of the glue as a good will gesture, takes about 30 secs.
