04 Grand Cherokee
My jeep had all the symptoms of a bad CPS according to this forum. Would not run at all gauges going crazy, fuel pump wouldn't come on so I changed the CPS, It started and run fine until I put it in reverse. It died and wouldn't start same symptoms as before. I let it sit a few minutes and tried it again it started right up until I put it in reverse. Same thing again it acts like it is out of gas when I'm trying to start it, when it finally does start it runs ragged a few seconds but when I put it in reverse it dies every time unless I rev the engine to at least 1200 rpm.
