How do I prevent the HEADLIGHTS to go to ON when I disarm the car with the remote?
It turns the lights on even when not needed for about 30 seconds (or until i set the key to accessories) IMAPALA 2003 (3.8L) |

Re: How do i prevent headlights on when unlock
Im not completely sure how it is in the 2003 impala but my 2005 impala you have two options both of which are located in the owners manual, one method uses the radio while the car is off and the ignition is in the acc position. The other i think uses the gas and brake pedals. But in your manual it will tell you!

Re: How do i prevent headlights on when unlock
The owners manual only describes using the factory radio to set the headlights/horn chirp options (as well as a bunch of other things). I think the gas pedal is only to reset the oil life monitor.
