I was just on it about 7 minutes ago. If you are ever here on a Wed evening make sure and go to a place by the name of Flashbacks. It is a bar on 84th and Center with a huge parking lot. Not uncommon for some highend cars to show up. Our 3000GT/Stealth group is there almost every single time. Starts at about 5-5:30 and ends when it gets dark.

yea... a 1979 porsche 924 has 115, a porsche 914-6 has around 130. the 944 only has a 2.5l 4cyl. also think that during the 80's the average 4cyl was around 2.0 and pushing maybe if it was lucky 100hp. the turbo however pushed 2.5l 220hp, and 944 s2 turbo had 247hp. what it lacks in power it makes up for with a 50/50 weright balance and handling

Re: funny stuff

as for slow trucks, no not all. like a i said, the new ones can haul ass, just not at low rpm, after 2000rpm, it just gains like there's no tomorrow.
i'd imagine the srt10 pickup is damn quick...isn't it the worlds fastest pickup truck for the street.
my firneds has had a 2002 454 ss chevy pickup, sounds nice, and at 1500, he's pulling on my stealth, and i have less weight and awd, but nothing in comparison to torque and power. it was a damn good race tho. i took from the line on that one. then at i'd say 60ft he was even, then 150ft he was just leaving me behind
