Steering wheel removal on a 95 GTP

I have a 95 GTP with a non working driver turn signal (just the rear driver side but when I push on the switch it works). I think I need to pull the wheel to replace or repair the switch. Since I don't have a manual at this time do I only need to disco the battery to keep the airbag from going off in my face or is there something else I need to do?

thanks much
