grinding noise cold

my 02 sebring has a grind like sound when cold around 12-1300 rpm on the passenger side. it goes away when warm. i've opened the hood when it does it but i can't hear anything. it even feels like it could be a bad vibration. i had an 01 with the similar problem both have a 3.0 and i couldn't fix it either. any one else with same problem?

Re: grinding noise cold

I have an 01 sebring coupe and i think i might have the same problem as you... the noise is a mix of grinding and creaking correct?? the noise comes from the wheel well in my case i had a mechanic look at it with no luck... have u figured anything out yet?? im going to try replacing the front suspension hopefully that does the trick... ill keep u posted...
