Re: Solid Black Wheels?

I was looking back through the old posts and saw yours. If you still need the info here goes. The only all black (no stripe(s) around the bead) wheels I've seen are from 4wheel parts. They sell a all black "rock crawler" type wheel and a newer one with round holes. A friend has them on his dodge and they look pretty good. I think his 17" were about $86/each.

Re: Solid Black Wheels?

you could powdercoat normal rims?
i was thinking of doing it.
i love the cragars on my truck, but i really wish they were black.
i haven't checked to see if it's possible yet.
i think it is though.

Re: Solid Black Wheels?

Metal surfaces need to be sandblasted so the powder can stick. If your Cragars are chrome, sandblasting might not do a good enough prep job. Show your wheels to the best local powder coating shop and they'll tell you what's needed for a quality result.

Done right, powder coating is practically forever!

i'm also debating just buying the nascar rims, those would look good.
